Manifestations of Nightmares, 2023-ongoing

These three watercolor paintings collectively form a singular body of work. They are created using a self-developed technique I call "sleeping as a method," a process rooted in the state of sleep. This methodology emerged from the integration of my PTSD therapy into my artistic practice, where I draw shapes and symbols recurring in my nightmares or dreams related to war. I repeat drawing these forms until they form into a recognizable image, representing an object or event from my lived experiences.
